If you’re unable to submit online, mailed entries are accepted (see below).

MAILED SUBMISSIONS

If you are unable to submit online, mailed entries are accepted and will be manually entered into Submittable by the Tidepools editorial team.

Mailed entries must include:

  • A completed entry form (one per submission)
  • Your typed, double-spaced poetry or prose entry, or a high-quality printed image of your artwork or photograph
  • Title and page numbers on each page of typed entries
  • A check for total entry fees, payable to Peninsula College (please do not mail cash)
  • Note: Mailed materials will not be returned.

Artwork and Photography Submissions

Please mail a high-quality printed image or photograph of your work rather than the original piece. Digital submissions are preferred, but mailed images will be photographed for judging and publication.

  • 2D Artwork & Photography: Submit a high-quality print or photograph. Do not mail original artwork or film. Clearly label each print on the back with the title of the work only (do not include your name).
  • 3D Artwork (e.g., sculpture, ceramics, mixed media): Submit 2–3 printed photographs from different angles to best represent your piece. Label each image with the title of the work only.
  • If selected for publication, you will be asked to provide a high-resolution digital file of your work.

Important

  • Your name should not appear anywhere on or in the work.
  • All selected entries must be available in an editable digital format upon request.
